The RBCA Tool Kit for TRRP is a state-specific customization of GSI's popular RBCA Tool Kit for Chemical Releases software. It is designed to complete the calculations required for Tiers 1 and 2 of the Texas Risk Reduction Program (TRRP). The RBCA Tool Kit for TRRP utilizes Texas-specific default parameters, modeling options, and chemical data consistent with the TRRP rule (30 TAC Chapter 350) and the related guidance issued by the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ).

Main Screen

This software is a comprehensive modeling and risk characterization package for Tier 1 and Tier 2 TRRP evaluations for chemical release sites. The RBCA Tool Kit for TRRP combines contaminant transport models and risk assessment tools to calculate baseline risk levels and derive Protective Concentration Levels (PCLs) for a full array of soil, groundwater, and air exposure pathways. The ease-of-use and streamlined graphical interface make it an essential tool for handling TRRP calculations for both simple and sophisticated problems.

Fate and Transport Models: Fate and transport models from TRRP rules and guidance for all exposure pathways address a wide array of chemicals, including metals and chlorinated solvents. Multiple points of exposure (POEs) allow analysis of actual vs. potential points of exposure in the same run. An array of default transport parameters provided for various soil types.

Transient Modeling Options: In addition to steady-state air, soil, and groundwater exposure models, the RBCA Tool Kit for TRRP allows transient groundwater modeling analysis to aid in determining Attenuation Action Levels. Additionally, the Tool Kit estimates how soon exposure could occur.

Chem/Tox Database: Extensive chemical list including TRRP default parameters for over 350 organic solvents, petroleum hydrocarbons, pesticides, metals and more. Includes the ability to derive risk-based standards for Total Petroleum Hydrocarbons (TPH) per TCEQ procedures. The user can expand and customize the database as needed.

Graphical User Interface: Streamlined graphical interface guides the user through the TRRP evaluation process. Features include convenient unit selection and conversions, the option to save and retrieve data for efficient file storage, and import and export compatibility with GSI's generic RBCA Tool Kit for Chemical Releases.

Reports: Produces report-quality output tables of baseline risk and calculated PCLs and a report-ready summary for each chemical.
