CURRENT OPENINGS

GSI has immediate openings in its Houston and Austin offices for intermediate-level environmental engineers, scientists and hydrogeologists. The positions will entail approximately 50% field work, with potential for domestic and international travel.  Preferred qualifications include an MS in hydrogeology, environmental engineering, or closely related discipline; 2 to 5 years experience in environmental consulting or related field; and certification as a PG or PE (or GIT or EIT, as applicable).  Excellent verbal and written communications skills are a must and candidates should have working knowledge of groundwater flow and contaminant fate and transport, environmental regulation, and environmental sampling techniques and remediation technologies. Fluency in Spanish and or Portuguese and familiarity with GIS mapping techniques are also desirable qualifications.
