
Ahmad Seyedabbasi, Ph.D.Dr. Seyedabbasi is an Environmental Engineer with GSI. He received a Ph.D. in Environmental Engineering from University of Delaware, and an M.S. in Civil and Environmental Engineering from Sharif University of Technology in Tehran, Iran. Dr. Seyedabbasi has over six years of experience in academic research and environmental consulting. He has conducted and published research on a variety of areas related to subsurface contamination, site investigation and characterization, and multiphase fate and transport. His expertise includes performing site characterization, NAPL dissolution, and numerical simulation and visualization of NAPL and dissolved constituents fate and transport in heterogeneous porous media. Since joining GSI in 2009, he has been involved in numerous site investigation and characterization, remediation, feasibility studies, groundwater modeling, and litigation support projects. He is currently a co-Principal Investigator on two DoD-sponsored research projects, focused on innovative technologies to enhance attenuation of unsaturated chlorinated solvent source zones, and developing decision support system for matrix diffusion modeling. |
