ELAINE K. GIE:

Ms. Gie has more than 22 years of experience in regulatory permitting and compliance with expertise in all aspects of RCRA and CERCLA program requirements for commercial and industrial facilities, and waste management practices for oil and gas upstream operations. She has an M.S. degree in Environmental Management from the University of Houston Clear Lake, and a B.S. degree in geology from Michigan State University. Ms. Gie has successfully completed five RCRA Part B permit renewal applications for treatment, storage, and disposal facilities, and numerous groundwater compliance plan applications and waste management unit closure plans that were approved by TCEQ with minimal comments.· Ms. Gie is also a highly skilled researcher of historical information related to waste management activities associated with industrial and oil and gas exploration and production operations, providing a comprehensive understanding of past site-specific activities relevant to litigation cases and cost allocation studies.
