How do I correctly input the affected soil zone and depth to water for the Soil Leaching to Groundwater pathway?

Answer

A common misunderstanding we have encountered is in the soil source zone characteristics with regards to the affected soil zone.

Some users have inserted values for the affected soil zone and depth to water indicating that the affected soil is below the water level. This can lead to miscalculations in the soil leaching to groundwater pathway. The base of the affected soil should be above the top of the water bearing unit.

We suggest that you change your input to correct this error.
