ROBERT S. LEE, P.G.:
Mr. Lee is a Vice President of GSI Environmental Inc. (GSI). He received a B.S. in Geology from Beloit College, Wisconsin, and has over 30 years of experience in environmental and petroleum geology and hydrogeology, with specialization in environmental site investigation and remediation. Mr. Lee is Licensed Professional Geoscientist in Texas, Alabama, and Kentucky. Prior to joining GSI in 1988, Mr. Lee worked for 7 years in oil and gas exploration and production for a major petroleum company. Mr. Lee has extensive experience in the design, implementation and management of environmental site investigation and corrective action programs on large petrochemical complexes and other manufacturing facilities encompassing numerous individual release sites and intermingled contaminant plumes. Mr. Lee’s project experience includes sites regulated under RCRA, CERCLA, and a variety of state regulatory programs in Texas and throughout the U.S., as well as sites involved in litigation matters and international sites. He has been principal author or co-author of several publications including a book chapter, technical guidance documents and conference papers regarding environmental site investigation, data analysis, and remediation methods and technologies. He has assisted with instruction in short courses and university classes on hydrogeology and groundwater contamination and conducts field training for GSI staff. Mr. Lee also directs and administers GSI’s health and safety program.
